Robert "Bob" Engelhart Obituary

Robert "Bob" M. Engelhart, 52, of Rockford, passed away Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born on April 2, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Robert V. and Mary Lou (Huisel) Engelhart. He married Kimberly Gibson February 7, 2016 in Belvidere. Robert was a mechanic by trade and had a passion for cars. He enjoyed drag racing, car shows and auctions. Robert also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be remembered for his big heart and love for others. He will be truly missed.

Survivors include his parents; wife, Kimberly Gibson; children, Robert and Tori; step-son, Cody; brothers, Sean and David (Angela) Engelhart; sister, Jodi Boardman and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his grandparents, Ferd Engelhart, Violet Fairbanks and Betty and Matthew Huisel.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
