Richard Svatos Obituary

Richard Charles Svatos, 69, of Rockford passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020. Born May 14, 1951 in Fairbury, NE, the son of Lavelle “Swatty” and Phyllis (McCashlin) Svatos. Married Pamela Richmond on June 29, 2002 in Rockton.

Survivors include wife, Pamela Svatos; son, Shawn (Kim) Svatos; sister, Ruthanne (Don) Smith; brother, Roger (dear friend, Kathie) Svatos; stepchildren, Holly (Doug) Jones, Adam Fields; grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, David Lyle, Ariel and Meadow Fields, Preston Svatos; great granddaughter, Terri Rose Simmons; and estranged son, Ryan (Lindsay) Svatos. Predeceased by parents; boyhood friend, Gary Rasmussen and Lucy, his loving companion.

No services are to be held at this time. A celebration of life to be held in the summer of 2021.
