Perry Lee Anderson

Perry Lee Anderson, 62, of Machesney Park, passed away in his home on May 3, 2019. He was born on August 4, 1956 to Robert and Farol (Cordell) Anderson. He graduated from Harlem High School in 1974. Honorable discharge from US Army. Perry was an avid race car driver of #21 at the Rockford Speedway. He was always helping other drivers in need.

He is survived by his four children, Aimee (Steve), Blake, Michael, and Abigail (Daniel); 3 grandchildren, Cassandra, Hailey Jo and Chase; sibling, Wally (Marcia) Anderson, Gary (Paula) Anderson, Gail (Paul) Flock, and Curt (Tina) Anderson; special and close friends Mike and Tracey Lloyd. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Thomas. 

A celebration of life will be held on May 25, 2019 starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Rockford Speedway, 9572 Forest Hills Rd., Loves Park, Illinois 61111.
