Kevin G. Cuniff

Kevin George Cuniff, 59, of Roscoe, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022.  He was born on December 12, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA to George and Catharine (McGowan) Cuniff.  He served in the U.S. Navy from 1980-1984 on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier. Kevin was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as Grand Knight for many years. He also did a lot of volunteering in the community and enjoyed teaching CCD in Pecatonica. Kevin loved to golf and spend time with his boys, especially coaching their Little League Baseball games. 

He is survived by his two sons, Daniel and Kyle and their mother, Beth; sisters, Kathleen, Karen, Denise (John) Sheridan and Georgeann (John) Graziani; brother-in-law, Mike (Lisa) Mund; and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his parents and godson, Brendan.

A Celebration of Life/Luncheon will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at the Cherry Valley Fire Department, 4919 Blackhawk Road, Rockford, IL 61109.  In lieu of flowers, donations please to the family for a fund for his sons.
