Jan Sherwood Obituary

Jan E. Sherwood, 71, of Loves Park passed away February 10, 2023. She was born November 8, 1951 in Norfolk, Virginia daughter of William Patton and Betty Haston. She Married Nathan Sherwood on August 28, 1971 in Hopedale, IL. She graduated from Illinois Central College and was a CNA at Fairhaven. She was a member of North Love Christian Church. She enjoyed angels and flowers but most of all her grandchildren.

Survived by her husband, Nathan; children, Michelle R. Rahn and Rebekah M. Sherwood; grandchildren, Joseph, Jazmyne, and Braidyn Sherwood, Dallas Rahn, and Chase and Kaylee Akers; sisters, Shirley Valdez, Jean Miller and Mary Harris; brothers, William, Terry and Tom Patton.

Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2023, in Candlewick Lake Outpost, Maintenance Dr. Poplar Grove, IL. with visitation from 2:00 PM until the time of service. The luncheon will be at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
