Guy C. “Clint” Shelley III passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 23, 2021. Born on May 28, 1960 to Guy C. Shelley Jr. and Nedra Shelley at Camp Pendleton in California.
Clint is survived by his father, Guy C. Shelley Jr.; his wife, Lisa Shelley. Additionally survived by sisters, Kristine (Mark) Jacobson, Peggy (Bill) Wilson, and Tommie (Clint) Lawrence. His children, Katrina (Jerry) Barton, Guy (Lauren Holloway) Shelley, Brandon (Kristy Boelk) Shelley, Taylor Graydon (Nick Kovatch) and Chris Cosme. Survived by his grandchildren, Marek, Gabriella, Danika, and Mason. His best canine pals, Dude and Ziggy, are busy bringing comfort to his family. Clint is predeceased by his mother, Nedra Shelley.
Clint was beloved by his family, both the human and furry members. Known for his colorful storytelling, Clint was an avid conversationalist. He was always willing to share his warmth and smile over some fine whiskey. Clint was very fond of spending time with his boisterous family, giggling over Cards Against Humanity, his expansive record collection, and cooking obscenely large quantities of food for his loved ones.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the Regional Cancer Center at Swedish American. The family will be celebrating Clint’s life at a private memorial at a later date. The family asks that contributions be made in Clint’s name to the American Cancer Society.
