Deborah C. Easton

Deborah C. (Stults) Easton, 70, of Rockford, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, January 29, 2023. She was born in Rockford, Illinois on March 29, 1952, the daughter of Albert and Dorothy Stults. Her passions encompassed animal welfare, fashion, jewelry, caring for others, playing the slots, and spending time with friends. Over the years, Deborah’s talents included bartending, catering, estate sales, and occasional modeling for a local boutique.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; her dog Bella; and her husband of 34 years, Allan K. Easton. She is survived by her son, John Massoth Jr.; sister, Barbara (Stults) Barber; brothers, Larry Stults and Roger Stults; uncle, L.V. “Jack” Stults; aunt, Shirley Stults; many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, great-nephews, cousins, childhood friend DeWanda Mullins and a host of dear friends. Deborah especially cherished her friendships with Joe Henderson, Kris Beckland, and Louise Patterson who were by her side throughout her short battle with cancer. 

Memorial service will be held at later date.
