The dearly departed Chelsea Annette Bankord left a hole in many people’s hearts. Born November 14th, 1987, she so sadly passed on May 20th, 2023. She was a fun, loving and caring person. She was a free spirit with a big smile and heart of gold. A very talented artist with a special love and affection for animals. She attended Lincoln Middle School, Jefferson High School, and earned a degree in Massage Therapy at Rockford Career College.
She is survived by her father, Gregory Bankord; sister, Katelynn Bankord; beautiful daughters, Elyce and Reece; sons, Franki and Emmanuel; nieces, Vayda and Monroe; nephews, Sonnie and Chesnee; loving aunt, Jamie Jones (Davis); uncles, Steve, uncle and aunt, Randall and (Candi) Davis, uncle and aunt, David and Linda Huneryager; uncle David; and many cousins.
Predeceased by her mother, Carla Bankord (Davis); aunt and uncle, Beverly and Richard Macias; grandparents, Lucy and Charles Davis; Gramma Connie.
She leaves behind special friend, Dave Carlson and her precious cat, Baby Kitty.

Visitation will be Friday, June 2nd, from 3pm - 6pm at Beth Eden Methodist Church, 3201 Huffman Blvd., Rockford, IL 61103. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the family as a memorial fund will be established.
