George S. Kehoe

George Scott Kehoe, 51, died Monday, February 25, 2019 at his home in Rockton (Harrison Township), IL after a brief battle with neuroendocrine carcinoma.  George was born November 26, 1967 in Beloit, Wisconsin, to James and Margery Ferrell Kehoe.  He grew up in the Shirland area attending Shirland Grade School and graduating from Hononegah High School.  George worked at Rockford Silk Screen, and during that time he underwent a successful liver transplant in 2018.  He enjoyed his Harley Davidson and his 45th Anniversary Chevrolet Camaro in which he and Buddy would tour around the countryside.  You never knew when the two would show up at your door!

George leaves behind to mourn his passing: special friend, Jan Treadway; siblings, Jim and Juanita Kehoe, Martin and Vonnie Kehoe, Rockton, IL; David and Anita Kehoe, Pam Kehoe-Peterson, Rockford, IL; Paula Kehoe, Roscoe; and last but not least, his faithful Buddy--much more than a dog.  George is predeceased by his parents.

The family expresses special thanks to the Loyola transplant team, OSF Hospice and Rockford Silk Screen, who faithfully stood with him the whole way.
