Doris Evans Obituary

Doris J. Evans, 88, of Machesney Park, has gone to be with the Lord and the love of her life, Albert on Tuesday, October 2, 2018. She was born on December 17, 1929. Doris loved to go out to eat with family and vacationing at her home in Sweetwater, Tennessee. She also loved taking care of her puppy, Precious.

Survivors include her sons, Richard (Judy) Evans and Thomas (Mary Frew) Evans; daughters, Sherry (Doug) Peterson and Cindy Evans; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A Celebration of life will be held on October 14, 2018 at the Roscoe VFW, 11385 2nd St., Roscoe, Illinois 61073 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Rennie Elvin will be speaking on the life of Doris Evans.
