David Garr Obituary

David Garr, 65, of Rockford, passed away December 11, 2019. He was born on July 10, 1954 in Rockford To Paul and Joann (Stokes) Garr. David graduated from Guilford High School in 1972 and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. David is survived by his parents, sisters Jody (Mike) Combs, Jackie Conley and Jill Garr, and brother Don Garr, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
David is predeceased by his grandparents, Bill & Mildred (Brough) Garr of Rockford and Ray & Frances (Swanson) Stokes of Brodhead, WI; his uncles, Daniel Garr and Gary Garr, aunts Diane (Leppert/Garr) Gaziano and Darlene (Froeber) Garr, and nephew, Daniel Conley. We take comfort in knowing he is now wrapped in their loving and protective embrace.
