Beautiful mother and daughter, Amber (Carlson) (Turner) Volkert, 45, of Rockford passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019, at home. Born June 21, 1974 in Rockford the daughter of Ken Carlson and Donna Kalen. Amber loved being outdoors and spending time with her grandkids and family. She was an assembler at Arachnid.

Survivors include her two sons, Braydon Turner, Travis Volkert; daughter-in-law, Paige Rieffer; grandchildren, Dontae, Kendra and Kaydee Turner; parents, Kenneth Carlson (Gayle Stelzer) and Donna (Frank) Kalen; two brothers, Lyle (Kelly) Jurmu and Keith Jurmu; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Predeceased by grandparents, Donald Gumtow and Kathleen Gumtow. She will be dearly missed.

Private arrangements will be made by family.
